No two people arrive at Karmic Life Design with the same history, habits, nervous-system patterns, beliefs, goals, emotional associations, communication style, or life experiences.
So KLD does not begin with a one-size-fits-all script.
The Therapeutic Design Program — TDP is Karmic Life Design's individualized framework for understanding the patterns influencing your current experience and selecting the mind-body, subconscious, behavioral, and educational approaches that may best support the changes you want to create.
Rather than asking:
“Which single technique should we use?”
KLD asks:
What is contributing to this pattern?
What may be keeping it reinforced?
How does your mind and body currently respond?
What does your system need in order to create something different?
Your TDP is designed around those answers.
A habit may have a behavioral component.
It may also be connected to stress, subconscious associations, environmental cues, expectations, emotional reinforcement, nervous-system responses, identity, or routines that have been repeated for years.
That is why KLD looks at the larger system instead of focusing only on the surface behavior.
Your Therapeutic Design Program may explore several interconnected areas:
Automatic beliefs, expectations, associations, imagery, internal dialogue, and learned responses that may influence behavior outside of deliberate conscious thought.
How your body responds to stress, safety, uncertainty, emotional activation, familiar triggers, and environmental demands.
The cues, routines, rewards, repetition, environments, and reinforcement patterns that help maintain an existing behavior.
What your attention repeatedly notices, anticipates, filters, rehearses, and reinforces.
Experiences and meanings that may have become connected with certain people, situations, behaviors, or internal states.
The beliefs and expectations you hold about who you are, what you are capable of, and what feels familiar or possible for you.
The routines, surroundings, relationships, stressors, sleep patterns, daily structure, and other factors that may make a desired behavior easier—or harder—to maintain.
The goal is not to analyze everything endlessly.
The goal is to understand which pieces appear relevant to your pattern so that your program can be designed intentionally.
We begin with your story.
During your consultation and intake process, we explore what you would like to change, what you have already tried, what seems to trigger or reinforce the pattern, and what you would like life to look like instead.
This provides the starting point for your KLD work.
Before attempting to change a pattern, KLD works to better understand it.
Depending on your goals, this process may explore areas such as:
Current habits and routines
Triggers and environmental cues
Stress responses
Thought patterns
Emotional associations
Personal history
Previous attempts at change
Motivation
Internal and external reinforcement
Communication and learning preferences
Suggestibility
Lifestyle factors
Desired future outcomes
Personal strengths and resources
Not every client completes every assessment.
Your assessment process is selected according to your goals and what information would be useful in designing your program.
The purpose is pattern mapping—not diagnosis.
Once we understand the pattern more clearly, your Therapeutic Design Program begins to take shape.
Instead of automatically assigning the same technique to everyone with the same goal, KLD considers which approaches may make the most sense for your individual pattern.
For example, two people may both want to stop smoking.
One person's smoking may be strongly connected to stress regulation.
Another person's may be connected to routine, social cues, identity, or automatic associations with driving, coffee, or finishing a meal.
Their goal may look the same.
The pattern underneath it may be very different.
Their KLD programs may therefore be different as well.
KLD draws from a growing collection of mind-body, subconscious, behavioral, educational, and personal-development approaches.

Your TDP will not necessarily include all of these.
The Modality Matrix gives KLD options.
Your pattern helps determine which options may be useful.
Your session is guided by your Therapeutic Design Program while still leaving room to respond to what is happening in real time.
A session may include several components.
We begin by reviewing what has happened since your previous session.
What changed?
What worked?
What felt difficult?
What did you notice?
When useful, we may explore the neuroscience, nervous-system, behavioral, or subconscious concepts connected with the pattern you are working on.
Understanding why something may be happening can reduce confusion and create more options for responding differently.
This is where selected TDP modalities may be used.
Depending on your program, this could include hypnotherapy, NLP, visualization, nervous-system regulation, subconscious-focused exercises, behavioral planning, somatic practices, or another appropriate KLD modality.
We connect the session back to your everyday life.
What do you want to notice?
What are you practicing?
What needs to change in your environment?
What response are you reinforcing next?
You may leave with a personalized exercise or resource to support the work between sessions.
This may include:
Audio
Guided practice
Worksheets
Habit exercises
Reflection prompts
Regulation tools
Behavioral assignments
Tracking
Educational material
Visualization practice
Your resources can be accessed through the KLD Client Resource Center.
As you begin practicing new responses, additional patterns may become clearer.
Something that was important during your first session may become less important later.
A strategy that works extremely well for you may become a larger part of your program.
Another may be replaced.
That is intentional.
KLD uses an ongoing process of:
Understand the current pattern.
Support a more workable mind-body state.
Introduce different associations, expectations, and responses.
Practice and strengthen what you want to become more familiar and automatic.
Shape your habits, environment, behavior, and identity around the direction you want to move.
Your TDP can evolve as you move through these stages.
The Therapeutic Design Program is also supported by the 7 Pillars of Karmic Life Design:
1. Assessment & Pattern Mapping
Understand the system.
2. Neuroscience & Education
Understand why the system behaves as it does.
3. Regulation
Build awareness and regulation skills.
4. Subconscious Reprogramming
Work with automatic associations and responses.
5. Behavioral Reinforcement
Turn insight into repeated action.
6. Lifestyle Optimization
Create environments and routines that better support your goals.
7. Identity Transformation
Strengthen the beliefs, behaviors, and patterns associated with who you are becoming.
The 7 Pillars provide the structure.
The 5Rs describe the change process.
The Modality Matrix provides the tools.
KLD is collaborative.
You are not simply given a program and expected to follow it without question.
Your experiences, preferences, comfort level, goals, feedback, and personal boundaries help guide the process.
You are encouraged to:
Ask questions
Share what feels useful
Say when something does not resonate
Discuss changes in your goals
Participate in choosing appropriate practices
Understand why a modality is being used
Take an active role in reinforcing change outside of sessions
KLD provides the framework and tools.
You remain the authority on your own experience.
The Therapeutic Design Program is not a medical treatment plan, psychological diagnosis, psychotherapy program, or substitute for licensed medical or mental-health care.
Karmic Life Design provides hypnotherapy, NLP, educational, behavioral, mind-body, and personal-development services within its professional scope.
When a concern falls outside that scope, KLD may recommend that a client work with an appropriately licensed healthcare or mental-health professional.
The word therapeutic within Therapeutic Design Program refers to the supportive, intentional nature of the personal-development process and does not represent KLD as providing psychotherapy or medical treatment.
You may arrive at KLD because you want to:
Stop smoking.
Change an eating habit.
Feel more confident.
Stop procrastinating.
Work through a fear.
Respond differently to stress.
Let go of an old relationship pattern.
Create stronger habits.
Become more focused.
Move toward a new version of yourself.
That is the goal.
Your Therapeutic Design Program helps us understand the system surrounding the goal.
And once we understand the system, we have more options for changing the pattern.
You do not need to know which modality you need.
You do not need to understand your subconscious mind.
You do not need to know exactly why the pattern exists.
That is what the discovery process is for.
We'll begin there.
Your complimentary consultation gives us an opportunity to discuss your goals, explore whether KLD may be an appropriate fit, and explain what the next step could look like for you.
